How to Avoid Getting Hacked

I was hacked last month.

Apparently it was pretty bad (you will hear in the interview). So I wanted to bring you this interview with That Supergirl (which BTW she totally is!!) Nikole Gipps. She is a programmer and specializes in working on hacked websites.

As business owners, this is one area that we could take some extra time to learn and understand because being hacked could mean days to even weeks of lost revenue plus the hassle of going through a hack and having to get your site back up and running.

I will say that I am not one to go the cheap route. So I did buy a firewall protection for my site and had a security system that was checking for hackers through my hosting company and neither did anything to notify me of the hack or to protect me from the hack. Here is a video I did on the lessons I learned about being hacked.

Click below to watch the interview with Nikole where she shares with us some valuable information about how to avoid getting hacked and if you are hacked what you can do about it.
